Tiger Quick Change Pinion Retaining Plate Locking Tab
This locking tab secures the pinion retaining plate bolts within a Tiger Quick Change rear-end assembly. Once the retaining plate bolts have been correctly torqued, the raised tabs are bent against the bolt heads to provide a positive mechanical lock and help prevent loosening under racing vibration and driveline loads.
Three locking tabs are used with the pinion retaining plate and its six mounting bolts. The tab should be replaced if previously bent, fatigued, cracked or damaged during disassembly. Suitable for use during scheduled rear-end servicing, pinion inspection or complete quick-change differential rebuilding.
