Quill Shaft Holinger
Holinger Transmission Input Quill Shaft
This input quill shaft is designed for compatible Holinger racing transmissions. Positioned between the clutch assembly and gearbox, it transfers engine torque into the transmission through its machined splined connections.
Holinger’s removable quill-shaft arrangement allows the clutch interface to be adapted without replacing or internally modifying the complete gearbox. It also enables the shaft to be removed externally for inspection or replacement, simplifying servicing between race events.
Suitable for replacing a worn, twisted or damaged shaft in the corresponding HCC-supplied Holinger transmission installation. Quill shafts can vary in overall length, clutch spline and crankshaft spigot dimensions, so compatibility must be confirmed against the existing shaft or transmission specification before installation.
