Chevrolet Performance L8P 6.6L Direct-Injection V8 Crate Engine

The Chevrolet Performance L8P combines the strength and displacement of the heavy-duty L8T platform with performance-focused cylinder heads, camshaft and valvetrain components. Producing 523 hp and 543 lb-ft of torque, this naturally aspirated 6.6-litre V8 provides substantial power with a broad, usable torque curve.

Its cast-iron block, forged-steel crankshaft and forged powdered-metal connecting rods form a durable foundation. High-flow aluminium rectangular-port cylinder heads, a billet-steel hydraulic roller camshaft and sodium-filled exhaust valves support improved breathing and higher engine speeds.

The package includes the direct-injection system, composite intake manifold, throttle body, ignition components, exhaust manifolds and production oiling system. A compatible controller, front accessory drive and vehicle-specific installation components are required separately.
