Chevrolet Performance CT525 6.2L LS3-Based Race Engine

The Chevrolet Performance CT525 is a competition-focused 6.2-litre V8 developed for high-RPM circle-track racing. Based on the LS3 engine architecture, it uses a six-bolt cross-bolted aluminium block, forged aluminium pistons and a high-lift hydraulic roller camshaft to produce 533 hp at 6,600 rpm and 477 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm.

A single-plane aluminium intake manifold supports carburetted operation, while the six-quart circle-track oil pan is designed to clear most GM rear-steer chassis. The engine is supplied with coil-near-plug ignition, an SFI-certified harmonic balancer and a flexplate.

The carburettor, ignition controller, starter, fuel system, exhaust system and front accessory drive must be purchased separately.
