Nyloc Nut 5/16" UNC Stainless Steel

This 5/16" UNC stainless steel nyloc nut combines the corrosion resistance of stainless steel with the vibration-resistant locking performance of a nylon insert. The nylon collar creates prevailing torque on the mating thread, helping prevent loosening caused by vibration, shock loads and repeated operation.

Manufactured from stainless steel, it is well suited to exposed environments where zinc-plated fasteners may be susceptible to corrosion. The coarse UNC thread provides reliable engagement and ease of installation across a wide range of automotive and fabrication applications.
